About the contest
Share photos of you and your children, and win! Prizes worth RM 500, including a professionally shot family portrait (5 prizes to be won!) - Photography contest known as IBU x Yellow Duck Studio Photo Contest is organised by IBU Family Resources Group with Yellow Duck Studio. - Participants are required to submit original photographs without any computerized modifications. - By participating in this contest, participants shall be deemed agreeable to and shall abide by these terms and conditions.
Prizes
There are prizes to be won for five winning families, including - A professional family studio session (5 x full edited softcopies) + 1pc family famed portrait 8"x12" worth RM300 - playdough and activities for the young ones - a goodie bag sponsored by Malaysia Toys and Little Blossom - And a fun coffee morning with other winner families and the organizing teams. The winners will be contacted directly through their social media profiles and phone numbers provided during the entry submission.
The results of the contest may be announced after August 5th, 2023.
Our photo shoot is on August 13th, at 68-1, Lebuh Noordin, 10300 Georgetown, Penang, 9am to 12pm only.
The framed portrait will be handed to the winners on the spot.
Any winners who fail to provide the requested details or is not able to attend the photo session on the specified date above may be automatically disqualified, and another winner may be selected as a replacement.
The prizes are not exchangeable for cash or items in kind, and the organizer may change the prizes at its discretion without prior notice.
IBU Family Resources Group reserves the right to use the photographs taken on 13th August 2023 of all families and the winning portraits publicly for their marketing purposes

How to participate
- Fill in the form below, upload your photo and write a caption in not more than 200 characters - Like the IBU Family and the Yellow Duck pages on Instagram if you have not done so already - By filling the form, you are also accepting our terms and conditions, including your time on August 13th. - Every entry to also include a comment on our Instagram post (follow the link here), saying done, #IBUPhotoContest.
- You can tag upto three friends, share and repost, let your friends know about the contest too. - You are allowed another entry for every three friends you tag, increasing your chances of winning - Do not forget to click Submit on the form
Judging of entries
All entries must be original without any computerized modifications. The organising committee and panel of judges reserve the rights to disqualify entries which do not comply with the Terms and Conditions of this Contest. The decision of the Panel of Judges is final and conclusive and any dispute or appeal will not be entertained. The judging criteria for the Contest may include but not limited to the following Uniqueness of Concept Appropriateness to Theme Creativity Composition Color, Contrast and Lighting techniques

Eligibility
The Contest is open to all individuals who reside in Malaysia.
Prizes can be redeemed only on August 13th, and only in the venue specified.
This contest is open to both IBU members and non-members. If you wish to take up your annual IBU membership before participating, please do so before contest date ends
IBU Family Resources Group reserves the absolute right to vary or amend the aforesaid eligibility criteria of a participant for the Contest if it deems necessary.
Any travel to reach the venue for the photograph to be borne by the winners declared on the 5th of August, IBU is not responsible for any travel plans.
Timeline
The Contest will commence on July 17th 2023 at 12:00am and ends on July 31st 2023 at 11.59pm (“Contest Period”).
IBU Family Resources Group reserves the absolute right to vary or amend the duration of the Contest Period if it deems necessary. All entries or submissions received prior to or subsequent to the Contest Period will not be entertained.
Submission of entries
Participants are required to register and submit chosen photographs in this form only to be eligible.
The format and size of the photographs submitted have to be in JPEG /PNG/ TIFF format with a maximum file size of 5MB.
Participants must submit the original photographs which are unpresented and unreleased in any other contest or platform.
Each Participant is allowed to submit maximum five (5) entries/photographs and only one (1) prize to be won by each participant.
No copycat and stealing of others’ masterpieces or creativity, i.e. each photograph submitted by you must be your original work and you are the only author of your work (Reminder: Any legal consequences arising from the entry are the sole responsibility of the Participants and IBU Family Resources Group shall not in any way liable to any claims or loss and damages airing there from).
Photographs that are deemed offensive, threatening, false, misleading, abusive, harassing, libelous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, scandalous, inflammatory, pornographic or profane content, inappropriate and irrelevant, or have any reference or association to sensitive matters according to any law will be disqualified from this Contest.
Commercial and advertising photograph, heavy digitally manipulated or post-processed, HDR (High Dynamic Range) or digitally montaged images are not permissible, e.g. heavy vignette, extreme darkening of skies, toning, filter effects are not allowed. In-camera multiple exposures are allowed.
Photographs must not have any borders, keyline or film edges, name, personal logos or watermarks. Scanned film images must be free of dust marks and borders.
Copyright
IBU Family Resources Group recognizes that the Participant, as the author of the photograph submitted, retain full ownership of the copyright in each entry. The Participants understand that any each photograph submitted for the Contest may be used by us for marketing, promotional activity or any other purposes as deemed fit. By participating in this Contest, the Participant hereby grant IBU Family Resources Group a perpetual non-exclusive royalty free license and right to use of the photograph submitted in this Contest, regardless whether the Participant is the winner of the Contest or not.
IBU Family Resources Group shall be permitted to reproduce, exhibit, publish or otherwise reuse the photograph submitted without notification or payment whatsoever to the Participant.
The Participant warrant that the Participant own the photographs submitted and the whole copyright in the work vested in the photograph. In this respect, the Participant further warrant that the photograph submitted shall not infringe or violate any copyright, trademarks, contract’s right, passing off or any other intellectual property rights of any third party or entity or violate any person’s rights of privacy or publicity or any applicable law. IBU Family Resources Group shall not be held responsible or liable in any way whatsoever for infringement or violation of any copyright, trademarks, contract’s right, passing off or any other intellectual property rights of any third party or entity on the photograph submitted.

What is the IBU x Yellow Duck Photo Contest
The nights are long but the years are short. In a blink of an eye, our newborn has become a toddler and soon into a child. Our hope is to capture memorable moments with the family for them to look back in the future and remember all the smiles, laughter and joy. In collaboration with Yellow Ducks Studio, we want to provide an opportunity for families to remember the moment for the years to come.
Yellow Duck Studio, founded by Bayz, is a photographer , based in Penang. A passionate lady who specializing in newborn, maternity, children, and family portraits. With 13 years of experience in the field, Bayz finds joy in documenting meaningful moments in people's lives.
