Visual development heavily influences your child's learning, motor ability, and cognitive function, as 80% of what they learn is through how well they can see the world. Healthy visual development is essential for your child to reach their developmental milestones in a timely manner, which later on influence their academic performance, social skills, and sporting abilities.

Expert Speaker: Yong Ai Chee, Chief Optometrist, THKD. MPH Global Health (Queen's University Belfast) UK, BSC Optometry (UKM) Malaysia. A public health optometrist with over 10 years of working experience in clinical optometry, she advocates for preventive eye health, and is especially passionate about promoting children's healthy vision. Ai Chee is registered with the Malaysian Optical Council and is a member of the Association of Malaysian Optometrists.
Note: This is a parents only workshop, however, if you need to bring your child along, you are more than welcome. A part of the room is being made into a tiny play area for the children who join us.
