“I Want to Do It Myself”
It’s a phrase many of us hear as our little ones grow and while we may feel proud of their confidence, it can also bring up resistance in us as parents.
Join us this month as we explore our theme for this week, “I Want to Do It Myself” - Navigating the Push and Pull of Early Independence to Raise Confident Children. We’ll discuss what it takes to support our children as they begin to assert themselves, make decisions, and try new things on their own, all while still providing the safety, limits, and presence they need.
We’ll explore:
💛 What independence looks like at different stages
💛 How to support autonomy in age-appropriate ways
