Little People, Big Emotions @ VCR Ritchie

Ever wondered what goes on behind the big complicated emotions of our little ones? Join us for a unique parent-child workshop designed to explore the topic of emotions through the magic of play via the C-BEE-T Thought Explorer card game with We Rather Bee – a team of clinical psychologists! 

Most adults find it hard to talk about emotions, so imagine being a child with a limited vocabulary and understanding of the world trying to navigate the feelings in his/her little body.  While we want to give our children the best, we might not be able to support them if our own feelings and emotions were not acknowledged or supported as children.  

Empower yourself as a parent by learning to support and understand your child’s emotions in a fun and interactive way. The C-BEE-T Thought Explorer card game offers a rare opportunity to see the world through your child’s eyes, fostering a bond that will last a lifetime.  

This workshop is ideal for parents with children aged 3 to 6 years old. Whether you want to enhance your parenting toolkit or spend quality time understanding your child better, this workshop is for you.

What to expect: 

✨Music and movement: Children love music! We will start the session with music and movement to warm up and engage the little ones 

✨Guess the emotion: We will go through a range of emotions and facial expressions to further engage the little ones to the concept of emotions through play 

✨Storytelling: Children can grasps and process concepts and ideas better through stories  

✨C-BEE-T Thought Explorer Card Game: We will play one round of card game to dive deeper into understanding emotions from the little ones’ perspectives 

✨Debrief, Q&A, and Community sharing: The floor is yours! Bring your burning questions and get expert opinions from the clinical psychologists or get insights from other parents on the same journey together
