IBU Workshop: First Aid Training for Parents ⛑️

Join us for this comprehensive first aid workshop specifically designed for parents hosted by Malaysian Red Crescent at Concord College International School this September 22nd 2024. This essential session will equip you with vital skills to handle emergencies confidently and effectively. Whether you're a new parent or looking to refresh your knowledge, this workshop covers critical techniques and practical advice for everyday situations.  

If you require babysitting services while you attend training, your child can attend art & craft and sensory messy play activities (supervised) while you focus on your learning. (Psst: Babysitting services are provided free of charge for children aged 3 years onwards)

While the session is specially designed for parents, children aged 12 and above are welcomed to join as workshop participants if they can participate fully for the entire three hours. They would require their own ticket to participate and must be accompanied by a participating adult.

1pm - Principles and Introduction to First Aid ⛑️

1:30pm - Safety and Prevention  

2pm - Basic Patient Assessment 

2:30pm - 4pm - Choking, Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation and Head and Spinal injuries

Fee: RM50/participant (IBU members pay RM40/participant)

Event notes:

• This event is recommended for parents and children aged 12 years old and above.
• You are welcome to bring your child along as FOC babysitting services are provided for children aged 3 years onwards.
• Kindly bring your own drinking water and own snacks for your little ones (Especially if they have specific dietary requirements.
