About the event
Observe the principles of respectful parenting in action in a safe and nurturing space, where you can slow down and get to know your child (and yourself) better!
Your child will get to play and interact with children their age, as they freely explore a carefully-curated play space that offers meaningful and appropriate challenges. As they play, facilitator Justina will gently demonstrate the principles of respectful parenting whenever intervention is needed, so you can sit back and observe.
Play time is followed by a time of guided discussion, where you’ll explore topics related to child development and parenting. We discuss a new topic each week including: Managing Meltdowns, Discipline without Punishment and Child-led Play. These classes are great if you:
- Have been wondering what respectful parenting is all about
- Would like to learn how to support independent play
- Are trying to parent without punishment but don’t know how
- Want to meet other like-minded parents going through similar struggles
- Are looking for a safe space for you and your child to just…be ❤️
Fee: RM65/child for IBU members (RM80/child for non-members). Payment to be made via bank transfer before the playgroup. Payment details will be provided in your email after you RSVP.
Please choose the session according to your child's age:
