About the event

IBU Coffee Mornings are the perfect place to recharge, relax, and connect with fellow mums, while your little ones get to socialise and have fun with other kids. Make new friendships, chat about topics close to your heart, have a good cup of coffee (or tea!), and go home rejuvenated. ❤️

This week, we'll be discussing Baby Signing! What is it? Why do it? These and other questions will be answered by a parent who did it and loved it.

Baby signing is the act of communicating with babies and toddlers using a modest range of symbolic gestures. Babies and toddlers can learn the signs (physical gestures) to communicate their needs, wants or feelings, before they are naturally able to verbally communicate. Rona is a Play therapist, a Counsellor and a mum to a 3-year old. She has worked with children and families in various capacities over 20 years. She rediscovered the power and importance of communication when she had her daughter. She took up baby signing and had lots of wonderful experiences of communication, understanding and connection as a result. Come along to the coffee morning to hear about them while your little ones get to socialise and have fun with other kids.

Payment to be made directly to the Little Owl for your orders. Check out our member deal here!
