About Yuri Schneider: 'Two Homes, One Family' is her first self-published book inspired by her true experience as a stepmother to her 6-year old child. She truly believes that the juggle & struggle of step-parents are as real as a biological parent’s one. It takes commitment, hard work & speaking your truth – to be a step-parent in a blended family – without the risk of losing your voice. Yuri aspires to a world where the topic of blended families becomes a norm for children in her country, even in Asia. She also looks forward to the day when toddlers’ content & play materials are more inclusive towards step-parents and/or step-family units in general.
