Over time, it has found its way to Malaysia, becoming a beloved pastime during the Chinese New Year festivities. This game is known for promoting fellowship and socializing, as it is typically played in groups of three or four. Much like the Western card game rummy, mahjong requires a combination of skill, strategy, and luck, making it an engaging and entertaining experience for players of all levels.
