Activities for the Day:
- 捞生 Yi Sang Sharing: Join us in the tradition of tossing Yi Sang for good luck and prosperity. Bring your appetite and share blessings and positive vibes with one another.
- 挥春 Chinese Calligraphy: Immerse yourself in the beauty of Chinese calligraphy. Learn the art of writing auspicious words and create personalized keepsakes to take home. Mandarin teachers will guide you through the strokes and meanings behind each character.
- 亲子游戏 Family Game: Challenge your skills and have a blast with Chinese cultural-related games, fostering family connections and creating lasting memories.
- 感官箱/角色扮演 CNY Sensory Bin/Role Play: Engage your senses in our Chinese New Year Sensory Bin, filled with vibrant colors, textures, and festive items. Dive into a world of imagination with role-play activities inspired by the rich traditions of the Lunar New Year.
- 冰糖葫芦 Candied Fruit Skewers Making: Make the Chinese treat known as "bing tang hu lu" to delight your taste buds. This sweet and tangy activity is not only fun but also a bridge to understanding and appreciating the depth of Chinese food culture.
- 祥龙手工 Dragon Dance Craft: Unleash your creativity by crafting your very own dragon dance! Dive into a world of vibrant colors and mythical traditions as you construct a beautiful dragon craft to parade around and share in the joy of the Lunar New Year.
