Terms and Conditions
Photography contest known as IBU Baby Stories Contest is organised by IBU Family Resources Group with Stories Lifestyle. By participating in this contest, participants shall be deemed agreeable to and shall abide by these terms and conditions.
What you need to do to participate
- Fill in the form and add your caption
- Drop us a line on our Instagram post to alert us, use #IBUBabyStories in your message
- Like the IBU Family and the Stories Lifestyle pages on Instagram if you have not done so already
- Do not forget to click Submit on the form
Eligibility
The Contest is open to all individuals who reside in Malaysia.
IBU Family Resources Group reserves the absolute right to vary or amend the aforesaid eligibility criteria of a participant for the Contest if it deems necessary.
Timeline
The Contest will commence on 5th June 2022 at 12:00am and ends on 15th June 2022 at 11.59pm (“Contest Period”).
IBU Family Resources Group reserves the absolute right to vary or amend the duration of the Contest Period if it deems necessary. All entries or submissions received prior to or subsequent to the Contest Period will not be entertained.
Submission of entries
Participants are required to register and submit chosen photographs in this form only to be eligible.
The format and size of the photographs submitted have to be in JPEG /PNG/ TIFF format with a maximum file size of 5MB.
Participants must submit the original photographs which are unpresented and unreleased in any other contest or platform.
Each Participant is allowed to submit maximum five (5) entries/photographs and only one (1) prize to be won by each participant.
No copycat and stealing of others’ masterpieces or creativity, i.e. each photograph submitted by you must be your original work and you are the only author of your work (Reminder: Any legal consequences arising from the entry are the sole responsibility of the Participants and IBU Family Resources Group shall not in any way liable to any claims or loss and damages airing there from).
Photographs that are deemed offensive, threatening, false, misleading, abusive, harassing, libellous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, scandalous, inflammatory, pornographic or profane content, inappropriate and irrelevant, or have any reference or association to sensitive matters according to any law will be disqualified from this Contest.
Commercial and advertising photograph, heavy digitally manipulated or post-processed, HDR (High Dynamic Range) or digitally montaged images are not permissible, e.g. heavy vignette, extreme darkening of skies, toning, filter effects are not allowed. In-camera multiple exposures are allowed.
Photographs must not have any borders, keyline or film edges, name, personal logos or watermarks. Scanned film images must be free of dust marks and borders.
Copyright
IBU Family Resources Group recognizes that the Participant, as the author of the photograph submitted, retain full ownership of the copyright in each entry. The Participants understand that any each photograph submitted for the Contest may be used by us for marketing, promotional activity or any other purposes as deemed fit. By participating in this Contest, the Participant hereby grant IBU Family Resources Group a perpetual non-exclusive royalty free license and right to use of the photograph submitted in this Contest, regardless whether the Participant is the winner of the Contest or not.
IBU Family Resources Group shall be permitted to reproduce, exhibit, publish or otherwise reuse the photograph submitted without notification or payment whatsoever to the Participant.
The Participant warrant that the Participant own the photographs submitted and the whole copyright in the work vested in the photograph. In this respect, the Participant further warrant that the photograph submitted shall not infringe or violate any copyright, trademarks, contract’s right, passing off or any other intellectual property rights of any third party or entity or violate any person’s rights of privacy or publicity or any applicable law. IBU Family Resources Group shall not be held responsible or liable in any way whatsoever for infringement or violation of any copyright, trademarks, contract’s right, passing off or any other intellectual property rights of any third party or entity on the photograph submitted.
Judging of entries
All entries must be original without any computerized modifications.
The organising committee and panel of judges reserve the rights to disqualify entries which do not comply with the Terms and Conditions of this Contest.
The decision of the Panel of Judges is final and conclusive and any dispute or appeal will not be entertained.

Announcement of Results & Delivery of Prizes
Results of the Winners of this Contest may be announced on any date as decided by IBU Family Resources Group, after 15th June 2022.
Winners will be contacted by direct message on their social media profiles and the phone number submitted on the entry form by the representative of IBU Family Resources Group, if needed, to verify the details and be informed of the results.
If the selected winner fails to provide the details as requested by us and is not able to attend the photo session on the 19th of June at Oval Damansara at the appointed time, the winning shall be automatically disqualified and IBU Family Resources Group shall have the absolute right to select another winner as a replacement winner.
Prizes of one framed print 8 x 12 photo will be handed to the winner on the spot. For any more copies or soft copies, you may speak with Stories Lifestyle directly for payment details.
IBU Family Resources Group reserves the right to use the photographs taken on 19th June 2022 of all families and the winning portraits publicly for their marketing purposes
Prizes are not exchangeable for cash or items in kind, and are not transferrable. IBU Family Resources Group reserves the right to change the prize(s) at its discretion to other prize(s) or a cash prize of similar or lesser value without any prior notice. The prizes are subject to any other terms and conditions as may be imposed by us from time to time.
For all participants of this contest, you also win a free framed portrait print if you book a photo session with them before 31st December 2022.
IBU Family Resources Group reserves the right to modify, delete or substitute any of these Terms and Conditions from time to time as it deems fit and necessary.

For all those who participated, whether you have won the grand prize or otherwise, you are also eligible for a professional photo session on any day of your choice. Receive one free 8x12 framed print when you book any lifestyle photography package from Stories Lifestyle before 31st Dec 2022.
