About the event
Observe the principles of respectful parenting in action in a safe and nurturing space, where you can slow down and get to know your child (and yourself) better!
Your child will get to play and interact with children their age, as they freely explore a carefully-curated play space that offers meaningful and appropriate challenges. As they play, facilitator Justina will gently demonstrate the principles of respectful parenting whenever intervention is needed, so you can sit back and observe.
Play time is followed by a time of guided discussion, where you’ll explore topics related to child development and parenting. 30th March Topic: Play is Learning. These classes are great if you:
- Have been wondering what respectful parenting is all about
- Would like to learn how to support independent play
- Are trying to parent without punishment but don’t know how
- Want to meet other like-minded parents going through similar struggles
- Are looking for a safe space for you and your child to just…be ❤️
Hosted by wooden toy & furniture maker Aden + Ren, participants will also be entitled to exclusive discounts for Aden + Ren products worth up to RM150.
Fee: RM60/child for IBU members (RM70/child for non-members). Payment to be made via bank transfer before the playgroup. Payment details will be provided in your email after you RSVP.
About your facilitator Justina is a mom of 1, an experienced educator and the founder of Wonder Village - Malaysia’s first platform for trusted home-based childcare. A respectful parenting advocate, she’s helped many families find peace and connection in their homes.
